Na Hoa Holomoku Anytime Membership

Anytime Membership

Anytime Membership entitles a person to sail our beach-launchable dinghies and catamarans any day of the week. To qualify for anytime membership you:

  1. Pass a written test of general sailing knowledge.
  2. Pass a sailing skills test on each type of boat you wish to sail.

You can move at your own pace.  Just take the one-time written test, or take the written and a skills test on your favorite beach boat.  Then take additional skills tests whenever you’re ready to add more boats to your anytime list.  It’s up to you.  Your annual Anytime Membership covers ALL the beach boats you want to sail.

Testing is provided on selected Club Sail Days. Members can signup for written and/or skills tests HERE.

Anytime Members provide leadership on Club Sail Days. You’ll be expected to volunteer as Beach Captain, Beach Assistant or Safety Boat Operator for two club sail days each year.

Written Test

This is a test of your general sailing knowledge. You will only need to pass this closed-book test once. A passing score is 90% or greater. Members can find study guides for this test on the Sailing Instructions page HERE.
