Club Sail Day

Members

Club sail days are for club members who are ready to sail without instruction. Safety in numbers is great for relative beginners, so this is your day to sail with a group.  We’ll have assistants to help you rig and launch your boat, and a safety boat to help you on the water.

Reserve your club boat by clicking Sign Up for Sail Day.  And don’t forget to check in with the club Greeter when you arrive.

Volunteers

If you’re an experienced member, please help us run sail day.  We need:

• GREETERS – Welcomes members and confirms their boat reservations.
• BEACH CAPTAIN – Coordinates the beach assistants and safety boat to provide a safe and fun day for everyone.
• BEACH ASSISTANTS – Helps members rig and/or launch their boats as needed.
• SAFETY BOAT OPERATORS – Operates the safety boat, helping members as needed on the water.

There are two 2-hour shifts.  You’re welcome to work one shift and sail the other, or you can sign up for both shifts.  Click Sign Up for Sail Day to volunteer.  Mahalo!
